Here is my version of the statue named “El Forjador” (the blacksmith) by the Catalan sculptor Josep Llimona. The original can be found Plaça Catalunya.
This stairway is located right across the Santa Eulàlia subway station. It leads to a pedestrian bridge which runs alongside the Sants-Badal and La Bordeta neighborhoods.
Today’s photopainting is a fantasy version of the silos and tanks of the commercial port of Barcelona inspired by the work of the French painter Gustave Moreau.
What seems to be at first glance an old palace is in fact a car wash tunnel I saw in Almogàvers street.
I really liked the minimalistic style of the hall of this glass tower I saw on Plaça d’Europa in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
I like to play around with architectural structures, like the small bridge of the Parc Central de Nou Barris located in the La Guineueta neighborhood.
I like to walk around the Vila Olímpica del Poblenou neighborhood where the pergolas of the Avinguda d’Icària by Enric Miralles y Carme Pinós symbolize the costal train which used to cross the old Icària neighborhood.

The elevator and access platform of the Complex Comercial Arenas de Barcelona, located Plaça d’Espanya, look like a launching pad for flying saucers. This is how I see it.
