August: the high season is in full swing. For some tourists, it is hard to choose between loafing on the beach, and visiting some must-see attractions like the Park Güell or Montjuïc. One can buy souvenirs literally anywhere in the city center, and after a day in the sun one sees the world through a kaleidoscope which turns everything into Gaudí tiles.
